The Combined Admission Entrance Test (CAET) is an undergraduate entrance exam conducted for admission to
IIT Delhi’s Abu Dhabi campus, specifically for UAE Nationals, international students, and Indian expatriates.
It is a 3-hour, English-language, pen-and-paper examination covering Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics,
with equal weightage across 60 compulsory questions.
CAET is held in multiple sessions throughout the year, and candidates may attempt it up to two times, with the best score
considered for admission. Designed to assess conceptual understanding and problem-solving ability,
CAET serves as an alternative pathway to IIT admissions outside India, comparable in rigor to
engineering entrance exams such as JEE (Advanced).

These lectures support conceptual clarity and independent learning aligned with engineering entrance exams.
Concept Builders are direct links to official NCERT textbooks, which form the conceptual backbone of most engineering entrance examinations. These books emphasize theory, definitions, derivations, and worked examples, making them essential for building strong fundamentals required for CAET and other engineering entrance tests.
NCERT Mathematics focuses on calculus, algebra, vectors, probability, and coordinate geometry, helping students master problem‑solving techniques.
Math TextbooksNCERT Physics builds strong foundations in mechanics, electricity, magnetism, optics, and modern physics essential for engineering entrances.
Physics TextbooksNCERT Chemistry emphasizes core physical, organic, and inorganic chemistry concepts, reaction mechanisms, and periodic trends.
