Amit Priyadarshi is an Associate Professor of Mathematics at the Indian Institute of Technology - Delhi, New Delhi, India. Dr. Priyadarshi joined IIT Delhi as a faculty member in 2012 right after obtaining his Ph.D. from Rutgers University, USA. Dr. Priyadarshi's research interests lies in the area of Fractal Geometry and Analysis. He has done research in the areas including Fractal Dimensions, Fractal Interpolation, Fractal Transformations, and Analysis on Fractals. His research mainly focusses on the theoretical aspects of Fractal Geometry but he has also done some work on the computational aspects. Dr. Priyadarshi has published about 20 research papers in reputed international journals and conference proceedings. He has delivered lectures and seminars in various workshops and conferences both in India and abroad. He has supervised two Ph. D. students and currently two more Ph. D. students are working under his supervision. He has also supervised several master’s and undergraduate’s projects on various topics. Dr. Priyadarshi has been serving as the Subject Coordinator (Mathematics) for IIT-PAL. He has delivered and reviewed several lectures under IIT-PAL program which are available on YouTube under the Swayam Channel. He has co-organized a 3 week workshop for Annual Foundation School (AFS-I) at IIT Delhi in December 2017. He has actively contributed to his department in various capacities such as Ph. D. Coordinator, DFB Secretary, DUGC Secretary, Training & Placement Incharge, Library Incharge, Seminar Incharge, BAP Member, DRC member, etc.
