Program Overview

The rapid evolution of Artificial Intelligence and data driven systems is reshaping how industries operate, decisions are made, and knowledge is created. At the center of this shift is the need for professionals who combine strong mathematical thinking with the ability to design, build, and deploy intelligent systems.

The M. Tech. in Machine Intelligence and Data Science (MINDS) at IIT Delhi – Abu Dhabi is designed to meet this need with depth and rigour. The program integrates rigorous coursework with research oriented learning, training students in advanced mathematical foundations, machine learning theory, data driven modelling, and AI systems design, along with interdisciplinary applications.

Program Structure

The program comprises of 61 credits distributed across the following categories of courses.

Notes

  • Credit requirements are specific to the program and are therefore the same across all three modes of admission. The progression in the program is different only for part-time students.
  • The curriculum allows for industry integrated major projects. In their final semester, students may conduct their research and project work directly within an industrial setting for the majority of the semester to ensure substantial professional exposure.
