Hariprasad Kodamana is an Associate Professor with a joint appointment in the Department of Chemical Engineering and the Yardi School of Artificial Intelligence at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, India. He joined IIT Delhi as a full-time faculty in 2018, following a brief tenure at IIT Kharagpur. Prior to that, Prof. Kodamana was a post-doctoral fellow at the University of Alberta, Edmonton, Canada. Prof. Kodamana's research interests encompass various interdisciplinary fields, including artificial intelligence and machine learning, optimization and control, and sustainable and net-zero systems within the broader scope of process systems engineering. His work has been focused on advancing computational methods and AI-driven tools to enhance the efficiency, sustainability, and optimization of chemical processes. With over a decade of experience, he has developed innovative algorithms that integrate computational models and machine learning to drive the efficiency and sustainability of complex chemical processes. Prof. Kodamana has made significant research contributions, with over 90 original research publications, two patents, and a book to his name. He is serving as a subject editor for two prestigious international journals in his areas of expertise. Beyond his research, Prof. Kodamana is actively involved in various institutional leadership at IIT Delhi. He has served as the Warden of Satpura House since 2019 and has been the Vice-Chairperson of the student technical festival of IIT Delhi, TRYST-2024. He also chairs the High-Performance Computing Steering Committee at IIT Delhi.
